Anyone here have a thumbdrive. Almost everyone makes them and they come in sizes from 16mb to 2gb. Theyre extremely handy and there easy to use. No dirvers necessary unless you use 98SE or below. I have an attache 128mb.

You mean those USB-ones? I've thought of getting one, until I realized I wouldn't need it anyways.

Yes, flash drive usb dirve thumb drive whatever. I use only about 30mb of space but i would much rather put this in my pocket when I go to school etc than carry a floppy disk that holds 1/120 of the space.

I haven't even had a 3.5 floppy drive for a number of years. I used to use a card-reader type of thing for my camera and ipaq, and I used that to move files, but now that I have hi-speed internet, i just use that.

Ahh the good old days, computers had 8mb ram and a 10" color screen. And a floppy disk was extremely hi-tech.

I use my 128mb compact flash card reader that comes with my camera. I wish my rio karma mp3 player had plug n play drive functionality...fun times!

I have a 128mb Creative MP3/Thumb drive..

I put on PHP Designer 2005 to edit sites, PuTTY to log into servers, and RealVNC to surf my home computer from school since the school blocks some sites ;)

Geek and I were looking and (not sure if they are legit) we found 8 gig thumb drives for around 5 grand. It's like the smallest portable hard drive.. ever.. you could run Windows XP from it..
