With discussions going on about moving providers (either to another or going dedicated), we may soon be seeing an upgrade from cPanel 10 to cPanel 11 (in the next few months, maybe?)

And I think there is a demo on cPanel.net.

It is actually more than a year (http://blog.cpanel.net/?p=10) old. It's supposed to be moderner/AJAXy/more fully-featured, etc.

Thoughts?

Looks sleek. I think I've tried it before, and I enjoyed it. I think it's time to upgrade, haha. Need to modernize HM :)

We have cPanel 11 on the host I have. Its really nice. We are also in the planning stages for a fantastico replacement which we plan to have cheaper if we complete it.

It does look nicer. It is easier having nice categories rather than having to search through a big load of icons. The stats look a bit meagre though, hopefully that is just because it is a demo. The old one gave loads of info there which was useful/

Yeah, there is a lot more info. The side bar I have only looks like that when it is collapsed, when it is expanded there is info there of all types :) It is really great.

I actually got a chance to use it when I was working on another site. It is a little different though. They moved stuff around so there is a slight learning curve. You get a lot more info and it is much more organized. I really enjoyed it. I also found it to be very fast in executing commands.

They have some features like dragging and reordering those boxes (which I thought was slightly pointless), changing the theme, etc.

Livedesign i think its smart becouse maybe you add many mysql everyday and the tab what contains with that you can drag it above so you dont have to scroll anad theme thats very handy becouse if your eyes doesnt pick up very lighted thems then you can use a darker theme or just uoir bored and wanna a new template

Cpanel 11 is very good and i wanna say Keep up good work

nice review LiveDesign, sounds good from your opinion. dragging the boxes and changing theme etc. are somewhat pointless, categorised under aesthetics and usability i suppose. I dont' use them and many others wouldn't aswell however if they didn't put them in i think they would have a lot of people asking for them.

Jozeh i think that no 1 asked them we never ask for a Windows Vista did we if they made windows xp Professional sp 921i02i023i :p Lol f

They do it becouse they want mostly that it is user friendly and that it works more options no bugs and that i looks good and i wanna say its a hell of a goodjob waited 1 year i think

PS and this is better for the WebHoster where you can buy your domein becouse they can set everything up like you want i said i dont need site software so they removed it !
