Is it just an abstract object or is it supposed to be something? If I tilt my head sideways and squint my eyes, it kinda looks like the Pope.
It looks good for your first rendering. I give it a -6.7/-10

:D Just and abstract. :P
And nevermind about rerendering its getting late and it would take about an hour. :O

That is seriously cool.
I can't do anything like that yet. I'm more of a 2d man, working with planes.

Nice, for it being your first Cinema 4D render. I remember when I first started out, I was really happy when I had finally found out how to add nurbs. But then again, I never used any tutorials. But congrats Mick (To me, your name is Mick) and since it would be your first render, I will give you a 8/10. Now, to make that score even higher, I would say to add a material to it. Probably a crystal material would look best with it. Then, stick it in an abstract piece in photoshop and go from there. Once again, congrats Mick.
I used to play around with bryce alot. 3D can be alot of fun and you can make some impressive things with it but I absolutely can't stand waiting on something to render.

Even if you used a tutorial, there is nothing wrong with that. It looks wonderful. I raise my score to a 8.1/10 (haha, beat you Magic). Keep up the good work.. I like abstract things.

I took about half of it from a tutorial on pixel2life, could've led me to uhhh biorust or whatever. Also thanks, I didn't think it was that well done. :p As for the material I was adding it but on 1600 X 1200 it would've taken an hour or so and I didn't have the time and now i'm in New York on the hotels computer. :p

8minsx4 is 32 minutes. For a render like that??? How many polys is that thing, man? No texture an one light? That's not natural. And what res you rendering at?? Really you should look into that..
As far as making it better.. pull it into photoshop. Those killer 3d abstract pictures that are EVERYWHERE are not done purely in 3D, most of the "magic" is 2D work.

The rendering for an hour would be with the material at 1600 X 1200. Without the material (the one I posted) took about a minute or something. :p
