I was woundering how many people own or have played Chrono trigger on the SNES or the Playstation. I have bought it on the SNES and I think it is the greatest RPG of all time. One of the reasons why is because it has new game+. So the hardest part of the whole game is the very beggining and then it gets easier from there. Another reason is because it has one of the best story lines I have come accross. The only problem with the SNES version is that it is kinda hard to find to buy (unless on ebay). But even when you do find it you have to spend at the least (from what i have found) $40. My uncle sold his with the original box, instructions, posters, everything for $120.

Yeah, it is a great game.
i wouldnt say it is the best ever, it has some serious competition.
But it was great, I played it on the SNES.

Well i think it is the best RPG of all time. At least on the SNES. Thanks I like the signiture too lol.

it could well be the best one on the SNES, even though the SNES was the best console for RPG's.
Im quite fond of FF 9 though

I didnt really care for FF9 all that much. Im not that fon (however you spell it) of FF very much.

Im fond of FF, but I started to dislike it as soon as it moved onto the playstation :(

Microsoft are good though, when I get a comp in my room im definitely gonna get halo anf lahf lif, im gonna make a CS clan :)

I've beaten Chrono Trigger too. It's a cool game but nothing like Final Fantasy man!!! Though they are both made from Squaresoft (Square Enix) :p. But I love there anime :D.

I cool thing about Chrono Trigger though is the endings. Which are different by how you beat the game and when you decide to fight Lavos.

I have been ordered by half a dozen people to play Crono Trigger. Probably because I played Chrono Cross, loved it, (got toi all 13 diffent endings) and then told that I *had* to play to first one. I am a FF fan as well, of course, though I only played 7 and up. 6 and under are on my list of fun to-do things next year.

I just got an emulator on my computer for Chrono Trigger a few hours ago (good timing with the topic ^_^), which helps since my copy of the game is for Playstation, lies about 3,000 miles from where I am sitting, and I have no TV for a year. So, I finally get to start playing it and judge for myself its greatness.

I must say... I am NOT a fan of the Xbox. The controller were made for oversized man hands. I can barely get my hands to reach all the buttons :p So I haven't bothered much trying to play the games. And Playstation RPGs are so much better just for FF and other Squaresoft games. One game console - PS2 - and my computer are enough for me. Though I still have the original nintendo somethere, and a sega genesis.
