I was able to get approved for hosting. I got the basic package. 20 megs. I am trying to setup a website that is a forum and central location for a certain niche of people to meet and discuss college greek life. I would like to get some opinions/suggestions on the best way to start it off without using up my space and going over the limit in bandwidth or space. Which php to install first or which scripts are the best to use first for this type of site? Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

In the scripts library PunBB is the way to go if you want to save space. It may not be the most popular, it isn't exactly the prettiest, but it is really small.

Its just my opinion but Mambo might be the way to go, Its small 7megs and its a full content manager.. it doesnt include a forum but Simpleboard 1.0.4 (http://mamboforge.net/frs/?group_id=24) is made for Mambo.. it doesnt have alot of fancy bells and whistles but all together it would use just under 10megs ... Pluse its has all kinds of add ons available thru a few good sites...skins ect..
