Favoratism of a tutorial is all relative. It depends on the person, their mood, the situation in which they are working in, and what project/goal they want. People have different learning styles, which affect which tutorial is their favorite. It's really hard to say "I love this tutorial" since a lot of them are actually the same as far as content goes. You will probably just have to read quite a few of them and decide which one suits your needs.

i like the tutorials at www.w3schools.com they help alot when your just learning, but dont cover the most advanced stuff

I find tutorials and references at HTML Dog (www.htmldog.com) really useful -- and there you can also find lots of things on CSS too.
