hmm, I just did part 2 to my invisionfree tutorials and I have had to do it in 2 separae topics because my post length was like 10782 characters.
That is a bit annoying.
So now there is invisionfree tutorial part 2: and
invisionfree tutorial part 2: (continued)
And I have done another tutorial before that! So things could get a bit confusing.
Oh well.
Feel free to read the tutorial, it took me aa long time to do

Due to a request I have re-opened this topic, but you don't need to mention your tut. soo much.

I think this should be taken into consideration from the admins (that means, Sage Tech :P) If 10k characters is too long, but we want people to submit tutorials to the forums (at least why the tutorials section of the site is being revamped, anyway) that the 10k limit needs to be destroyed or raised to soemthing higher. It's easier on the writer of the tutorial and those reading the tutorial if it's all in one thread, so we should really think about raising the Char. max.

This thread would've fit better under suggestions, though :p

i odnt think you're being an ass, at all. I took it as a suggestion to raise/destory the character max per post - especially in the areas of the forums that are for tutorials. i think mck took it as you were advertising.

The Max post length has been raised to 20,000, the minimum post length has also been increased (to 30). Thanks for the suggestion.

no problem.
Now I can carry on with my tutorials :)
Oh and why would i bother advertising them!?
Mck got it wrong :(

Perhaps you should put your tutorials on a website, and then link to them. That might be more sensible ;) It would also mean that they all advertise each other.
