Did you ever come across a file with an extension that seems vaguely familiar? Or you have never seen before and have no idea what the file is?
A couple of times a year, before I delete something, this site comes in very handy...

Type in a file extension and it lists all the type of files it could be, what program creates or accesses it, etc.
