View Full Version : Been at the computer too long?

Since 2005, two not-so-interesting things have happened to me. The first of which was a spider was climbing on my TV antenna, (A device used to get in channels before satellite and cable :P) and he started spinning a web from the antenna to my shoulder. He didn’t spin a whole web or anything, it's just the fact that he had the nerve to spin on me like I wasn't going to move for the next three years! I like spiders (they eat all the misquotes and stuff I hate) so I redirected him to a nice little corner. :P

The second thing just happened this Sunday. My computer chair broke. It didn't break because I get angry and throw it at stuff, but rather from normal wear and tear. I only had it for a few months! However, I did get it used. But it was it perfect condition when I got it! Even if it was only $5...

This has made me come to the conclusion that I may need to consider getting one of those hypothetical "lives". Would you agree? I hope for your sake you cannot relate to anything I said in this post. :P

Anyone else had any sort of "omens" that they need to take a break from the computer? :P

knowing that I could spend half of my nigh on it. I can't get off it, unless it's really nice weather. The computer is not part of my life, its just a toy, that is really really addicitive

mostly i just use the computer for my assignments, sometimes games when i am free. but i usually prefer going outside and enjoy the sunshine.. :P
this winter, i had been on my computer quite often because of the bad weather, but when summer arrives- bye bye, computer!
computer is not really addictive, you just gotta know when to quit and take a rest.

I try to like my parents nearly have to pry me out of the computer chair to get me to eat and sleep... I would be like a computer zombie if I had free internet forever and no parents around... that would be creepy....

Ha. I am a computer zombie.
And it is scary.
I believe it is 2am right now. I probably won't sleep until sometime past 4am. And I have spent roughtly 10 hours on my computer today, and that is when you take into account that I went to a museum and food shopping all in one day.

I go outside every once in a while. I don't mind going outside I just don't like what I find out there. Fact is, most people are...um.... in my opinion not very likeable. And well when you go outside, theres plenty of people...and they get on my nerves. But sunshine is cool and all sometimes. I love my pooter, its my buddy.

Yeah, I sleep from like 12 noon - 10pm. CAAAAAAAANS! Sunlight isn't even an option for me. :P I do my school on the computer, then I do my work on the computer, then I have fun on the computer. Then, to take a break from the computer I will either watch a movie, play video games or go to bed and start over the net day. :P

Man, I need friends...
