lighter things in life

I am new here. I dont see any forums for lighter things in life such as some jokes.
Here its only HTML or PHP or website hosting. Well its true its the reason we all are here. But we must talk something other then that too isn't it? well no offense meant. :)

I think the underground forum is for stuff like that. It is sort of our General Discussion Forum. :)

Yes, anything you want to post that isn't really related to web design should go into "The Underground" Jokes are acceptable :)

Hey Tim:

nitrite has a pretty good point, perhaps not a forum for jokes, but maybe more of a community forum geared around peoples interrests? Perhaps we could have a poll question setup and everyone could vote on a new community forum?

Just an idea.

Anything like that could go into the underground. If it ever got so overcrowded with posts about interests, then maybe. But I think it's fine for now :)

To those members who have joined after the alterations to HM:

We did have both "The Underground" and "General Discussion". There were things being discussed in "General Discussion" that people were unhappy with due to it counting toward the post count (this brings up a whole new issue, search the forums if you are interested). Thus, the admins and mods decided to combine the 2 forums into "The Underground". You can talk about whatever you want in "The Underground". People will check that forum just the same. The only thing that is different is the name of the forum. Just post there and be happy.

There should be a spam board that doesn't counts to the post count. Like in other forums, there is a spam board to ""let your emotion" go. Plus, it'll bring a lot of energy into the forum. But if it's no, I'll spam in RON oracle

Sorry, but I don't think thats exactly what we want.

However, feel free to create your own board for that purpose, or in this case with Flames. :)

if anything, "The Underground" Sub-section of the forum is for pointless stuff. Dont spam it, but if theres a joke, or something cool, or you just want to say something, put it in the underground. there is no post count there - but we still don't want massive useless spam, so keep that junk out :P

Maybe we can add a forum for spam that is automatically cleaned out every 5 minutes, or something like that, so that it's not a mess all the time...
