Well, i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but we are getting a lot of new members, who are active! I think we are recieving just a whole lot more members in total, but several more of them are actually staying and participating in the community :) Good Job guys! I'm not sure if this is advertising, or St/creator's seo work, but it's really working :)

great! it used to be 1 out of 20 of the members actually stay at the forums, the rest just request without posting any message...
but this is good! finally this is starting to change, and i hope it gets even better!

I think it is because of your nice google rank. I wouldn't have found this site if you didn't rank so high on google! :)

It was only going to be a matter of time until any website which offers such quality free hosting was going to be recognised.

But more members means more spam and more spam means more bans and more bans means more new accounts for the banned members and then thay get banned and the cycle starts allover again.

Well, that's a little bit of a pestimistic way to look at it. I find that it's a very good thing, as it means that we are getting more exposure, and growing as a community.

Yes, well, we can't argue with that... Just kidding.
Anyway, I think more exposure is a good thing, and we really shouldn't worry about spammers. After all, that's what moderators are for, right? :P

yes but nobody will go onto a site that takes ages to do stuff, more spammers means slower showup.

\does this mean we should allow spam in hm?
i think we should be softer on spammers, like just giving a pm to them or something. but major spam is very serious, we cant take that easily-such as autospam, macros, etc.
i think this idea works out and we can still take control of the spamming program

Spamming can be a good and a bad thing. But it's mainly bad.
Spamming for the good can show members are active and it can also be good if someone thinks their posts through and doesn't make it spam just posts a lot.
Spamming for the bad.... Well you know the reasons
