I was Wondering...
is there a site that Defines technichal terms for me, because a lot of things that you guys talk about puzzle me.
Like
Server Side
RAM (kindof)
and a whole lot more.

There are a few but the one I like is http://www.webopedia.com/ It has a few term pages but it has a search box and you just type in the word and in comes back with links and definitions of the word..Hope this helps, I understand what your saying I like the terms thingy,Wingdingy, widgit, those I can understand :lol:

Another idea, if for some reason these ideas do not work, is to just search Google. I know you always hear the "Just Google It" phrase thrown around quite a bit, but you would be amazed at how much you can learn from a search engine. There were questions I had, and all I did was went to Google and typed "What is ________?". It brings up a dictionary explaining the basic definition, followed by links to other areas explaining more in-depth areas.

For exmaple: CHEESE
define:cheese then it'll pop up.
Oh, as for definitions, I goto dictionary.com. it's fast and easy!

I use Wikipedia for just about all of my knowledge-based needs now, it's amazing. I never knew people would pull together to do things like that.

yes, wikipedia gives you some information about computer technologies, but not all, of course. but if you are just a lil into those computer abbriviations and stuff, this site is everything.

i just realized something
wikipedia is bookmarked in firefox, if you go to bookmarks firefox crew picks, and Wikipedia is there
awsome.
