1) I'm a 16 year old Canadian. I've been working with PHP & MySQL a bit and ran my own multiplayer game on Tripod(UK) but couldn't stand their excessive ads (in many forms, too - banner, frames, occasional pop-ups). These ads drove many of my players away; removing the ads would have been a rather simple task but as I did not wish to infringe upon their rules I chose to take down my site and search for a new host.
2) I'd like to use this service to further develop my web programming skills and launch more ambitious projects. Most likely I will overhaul my game and put it back up. I also have some personal tools which simplify my internet activities that use PHP. I'm also interested in developing a site with members-contributed subject-specific articles (although I'll probably put up some of my own writing compositions as well - past essays, satires, theses, debate tourny speeches, etc). The latter will initially be intended for school. (These are in no particular order, by the way. The game needs a major overhaul - thanks to new ideas and new knowledge of PHP - and will likely be the last to be uploaded from the aforementioned list of projects).
