An Inanimate Object...

I've just finished speech class this semester. It was fun and I adore the teacher...now some of my friends are taking it and reminding me of speeches I'd forgotten I'd even given!

Our first speech, for instance: Compare yourself to an inanimate object (without using the word "like"). We got some interesting results: a toilet, clay, a book, a CD...I learned a lot about people in my class this way.

What's your object? What one object relates to you? You may use "like" if you want :P .

PS: I was a pair of headphones: listen at a distance, it's all nonsense; come in contact with them, hear lovely music :P .

I have a habit of making things literal (when someone says "What's up?", I say "The sky, maybe a couple of birds, and a cloud. Directly above me there's a ceiling, though") So, I guess I could be related to some kind of robot, that takes everything you say and doesn't understand what it should really mean.

Then again, after reading UCB's post, I think I'm an apple :huh:

lol, flames do you know what inanimate means? It means something that dosnt move, such as a rock or a stick ;) A kangeroo is animate.

LOL...Hey, I bet some kangaroos are inanimate at least some of the time. If I were an inanimate animal, I'd probably be a cat.

Hmmmmmm I'd probably be a modem, I cand send and recieve stuff pretty fast (I talk alot) I also be slow when I feel like, and forget everything everybody tells me as soon as I've finished what they wanted.

you also get hit by trucks cars, utes, and you're hated by millions of farmers, you are occasionally shot, often killed, the list goes on. XD :lol:
