first of all i'd have to say a HUGE sorry to all the admins/smod/mods if you find this post offensive. you can delete this post or increase my warning level if i'm causing any trouble but i'm just so ANNOYED atm :angry: i have to post! :angry: i'm getting really MAD!!

alphonse, i've just seen your alphonse.info thread in the website review forum. i'd have posted this post earlier in that thread but unfortunately i've been really busy in the past few weeks that i didnt see it. not that my design, content or ideas are that good you have to copy my things over and over again right?!

first of all, look at the rules in your geekring (http://geekring.alphonse.info/). my ENGLISH IS DAMN POOR! why do have to copy the whole passage of rules from my marine (http://marine.meoworks.com) / meow (http://catlovers.meoworks.com) webrings???!!! individual ideas could be the same, but hey, for example, i've never seen webring rules telling people not to embed music files on their websites before. i have that on my ring rules just bcuz that is my personal preference! not to mention the use of words and sentences -- they're just a clone of mine.

secondly, the links page on your domain. you are even copying the way i describe my links out from my domain??! :wacko: alrite. you may say that "hey thats nothing special how could you say that i'm copying from yours!" oh well yeah i guess so but this is obvious as you had copied my design once so i'm now assuming it <_< !

maybe you think only designs shouldnt be copied but i'm telling you THATS NOT TRUE!!! you wouldnt copy your schmates' essays, you wouldnt copy articles from a book thats already been published by someone else into a book that you're gonna publish, and so you SHOULDNT copy ideas and text from another website to your own!!! :angry:

what annoy me the most is that you actually emailed me few weeks ago and told me not to mention this on HM again. i thought "WTF?" i was really busy back then so i didnt give a ****. besides i thought as long as you're not copying my stuff again of coz i wouldnt bother. i'm really not that free to keep on flaming you here for nothing. but now! hey! again?! =_=#

i'm so very possessive that i think everything, unless otherwise stated, existing/ existed on my website are all my belongings! and if you ever rip anything from my website i believe i reserve the right to tell it to the whole universe! :angry: not that bcuz i think my stuff are any good, but this is my PRINCIPAL & BELIEF. and i believe anyone who owns and works on a website are most likely to think the same way as i do --- no body would like any of their works to be ripped. =_= if you dun like me discussing about it here, then dun do it!

Well I totally agree with you, it looks like Alphonse totally copied your website. He obviosuly doesn't feel like doing something himself. :( Well if that is the case he should get one of those free templates, not go stealing others.

Most people feel so safe behind their computers, well Alphonse you basically just stole something. No its not technically physical, but you did.

Lovingff8, you are completley right here, alphonse, you have to be origional. I don't think you know the first thing about making websites. If you want an easy way to make a website, just by copying something, use a thing that people want you to copy. They're called Content Managment Systems, such as phpnuke.

Well I mean this isn't my decision if it up to me I would suspend his account and to get it back he would have to apologize and show us that he has something of his own or a free template etc.

I'm pretty sure smods can suspend accounts.

@geek: mod's can't give out punishment like that, as it is the hosting side of hm, that will be left up to termy, or creator, if they decide that something needs to be done. I personally think that something should be done, as this is the second time this has happened!

Let's see now... alphonse has clearly not broken any forum rules (no spam or such)... but I believe the 2nd point of the Acceptable Use Policy states that no infringement of copyrighted material is tolerated. Not to mention that this is not the first time... and alphonse even offered to give ppl website makeovers about a week ago... I'm not suggesting there's fraud/scam on our hands or anything, but I believe that while no forum "rules" have been broken, the unwritten rules have been violated to a great extent; plagiarism and violation of intellectual property affect not only an individual but also the community that the individual represents. Not to mention that federal/international LAWS have been broken (not just once!)

@Admins,
As this is a repeated offense and a clear violation of the AUP, please take administrative action against alphonse's hosting acct.

@Mods,
Feel free to add warning levels to him for damaging the community's reputation and integrity.

This means that you are not allowed to copy the content and use it as your own without referring a link, and getting permission from the author himself/herself.

Nyways, I also believe that his acount should be suspended.

But what I never got was that how could any1 be so silly to just copy everythin from elsewhere and claim it as your own.

Well this is technically a repeat offense considering lovingff already amde something about him using her CSS. He did take it off, but that should've been a warning not to pull something like that again. Of course maybe he didn't know better, who knows.
