Demo cPanel

I know it existed but I haven't ventured there. Is the demo cpanel there so we can try stuff out? Are we encouraged to do this or not? I don't want to annoy anyone but doing the wrong thing.

From my understanding, it is too see what cPanel offers and all of the 1337 stuff it can do. I don't think you are supposed to / can install or change anything.

Whenever I type in hmdemo:hmdemo, it just goes back to the login thing.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll leave it alone though. I guess it's for the people who are thinking about applying for space, so they know what they are getting before they apply.

i was trying to logon into the demo cpanel with the hmdemo and hmdemo and it wasn't logging on...

I think someone who used the demo changed the password.

I have changed them to normal.

no...it's shouldn't be someone changing the pwd bcause if one person typed in the wrong pwd...they would show a forgot pwd icon and it would auto generate another pwd...correct me if i'm wrong...

Just use demo/demo instead of hmdemo/hmdemo :D

I guess some admin/mod has to update the posts with the instructions with the right login/password. ;)

I'm experiencing the same problem. I can't log into my own Cpanel with the password I used to sign up with Host Matrix and I can't log into the demo with its password (hmdemo).

In each case, after 3 attempts at logging in, a page loads that states that the log in has failed.

What is going on? Is there something wrong with my computer?

I couldnt log in to the demopanel... :( hmdemo doesnt work.. may it is an other password...
