Because normally when ppl use avatars, part of the intention is to glorify whatever is in the avatar... and there really isn't much about Hitler to glorify. And considering that so many people can find the Nazi symbol offensive, it shouldn't be a surprise that an image glorifying Hitler would offend even more people to a greater extent. Anyhow, point being... Canada1824, I want you to remove that avatar.

not to be "smart ass-ish", numbers, but Hitler accomplished many good things in his life. Aside from ordering millions of people, especially Jews, he really wasn't too bad of a man. here are a few things he did to make Germany a better place

-Hitler tried to decrease the consumption of alcohol. In 1940 Operation Tea was introduced, this meant that non-alcoholic drinks like tea were given to workers to stimulate them.

-Hitler invested large resources to prevent the usage of tobacco. Step by step smoking started to get banned except in the army. Cancer rates dropped in large numbers. This meant that perhaps thousands of lives were saved from an early death. Compared with other countries Germany had healthy people.

-In the December of 1933 the Reich Anticancer Committee was founded to research about cancer. Resources for preventive medicines and early detection were started. Autopsies were subjected to get good statistics of the illness. In 1936 autopsies of around 125000 men showed that 18 per cent of them had died from cancer.

- The Autobahn was built and completed during Hitler’s time in office. The Autobahn is a highway with no speed limit that has allowed goods and people to be transported much quicker.

-A housing program was introduced providing all German families an accommodation (maximum of two stories) each with its own garden.

-Hitler improved the Germans lives and women had almost the same rights as men.

-Restoring the German economy after WWI

-Expanded Raw material production

Not to mention the fact that he lead one of the greatest militaries that this world will ever see.

I'm not saying that attempting genocide wasn't bad, because what happened to the Jews during Nazi Germany's reign is horrible, but this was what he and most of the germans thought would help create the perfect country. Hitler was a genius, a man of his word. To say he did nothing to be glorfied for is absurd.
