I'm sorry to ask this. I've searched the forum, and have browsed through the HELP as well.. but couldn't find what 'Warn %' means in my profile.. now it shows 10%.... Thanks

It means that you have posted some kind of rule breaking post or topic, and probably more than once. One of the other moderators, admins, or super moderators gave you a warning: and if you continue to post rule breaking content you will probably get a more harsh punishment (suspension, posting restrictions, or even permanent bans.) Don't get stressed out about one warning though: Just remember not to get two.

You were warned because you had 10+ posts deleted and you kept on reviving old threads. So: Spamming.

I think that everyone should see people's warnings. What's the point of hiding it? It's kinda like what people suggested where people should have a spammer title.

Thats not true Ic3....there could be another reason for getting a warning instead of spamming there are other reasons that some people could be warned. So that they don't want to show it since the user could have done something worse, and its the users right to keep there on privacy.

I hope that made sense :S

@fenix: That's true that users should have their privacy, but they should also be following the rules. If they recieve a warning, they have done something wrong. So i think it would be a good idea to show peoples warns, as it would be a bit more of a punishment for not following the rules :)

No I totally disagree with eceryone being able to see users warning levels, as Fenix said it is privacy, and lets say you have a 50% warning level for some reason, I don't think you want everyone to know that or why you have it.

@Khizaw, your warning level isn't 10% anymore... ;) Its more, you recieved the daily spammer award.

yeah, i really think we should not hide the "warnings" for users from now on, or the reputation thing i suggested.. then ppl will know if that person spams or not. again, it will be even better if we can give up +s and -s to ppl.. not just negative stuff.. ~motivations~

what we can do is let ppl see others' warn level, but not the reasons

Yeah numbers, i think that's a good idea, because it will really make warns do a little more than... nothing lol :P

well, if we can find a mod that shows everyone pplz' warnings, i can modify so ppl can't see the reasons (and if I can do it, then Tim can do it for sure! :P)

Yea I guess that would be good, it kinda puts shame on the members that spam etc. As long as it doesn't show the reason I suppose it gives you some privacy. ;)

Oh of course lets make Tim do it! :D

Putting the work on me, eh?
But I'll do it, if you want it. I don't think it can be that hard...

I'm sure there is already a mod out there that does this. I'll look around so Tim doesn't have all the work on his shoulders :P

I just got this from a site, this guy was asking how he could make everyone see their warning levels and this was a response. He said it works so we could mabye try it.

Well thats an option but I was looking in my forums ACP and I can't find the Warn Settings? Any help?

And this isn't suggestion and feedback, oh, nevermind the question forum was merged with this one. :)

But why warning was not done at first place? I got the warning directly. The term of service you've made newly stated that you've PMed all new users the the tos, whereas I've never received such.

Without knowing the rule, it is possible to reply to the old threads since they are up in the forum...

If this clarification doesn't satisfy you, don't keep warning me and putting all those threats... you can ban me... I just want fair judgement on your parts... if not I request you to pull back the warning... now that I've read the TOS, I will abide by it... thanks

You were warned yesterday (or perhaps 2 days ago) when you first broke the rules. But you still revived old threads after we warned you; hence, you got the extra warning levels today. It's at a total of 30% because we deemed your new offense (especially since we warned you already before today) serious enough to be considered 2 separate offenses, hence 10% + 20% (2nd and 3rd violations).

It's good to know that you have finally read the rules. We shall expect no more spam from you then.

Yes, you are right. I could have read the new RULES and Terms of Service. Earlier, some short posts were not counted as post, but now they are considered as spam as well. Besides reviving old posts also meet the same fate as spam.

I agree with everyone now. And thanks to 688206002 for clarifying me each and every questions I had through Private Messages.

I hope everyone will learn from this and makes no more mistake like I did.
