I was just thinking that maybe we can have like an arcade here at HM. I know it's possible cuz I've seen other sites that have it. I was thinking that you can put an Arcade Section where you play games and the person with the HighScore would have something above their avatar saying Basketball Champion or something like that.

you should also put that you are only able to play the game if you make one post a day at least, or you need to have a minimum post of 15 or more in order to be allowed to play the game. I dont know if im making myself clear but im trying my best.

I know this is another way to get more people to participate in the forums and can also be an attraction to people who aren't in the site yet. it can attract a lot of new members. plus you can also make a game only available if you win a contest in the forums or something.

I geuss that would be sort of cool, however, i dont know who would set it up, and how. But it does sound pretty cool. Also, how come this is in the agents forum, and not the suggestions forum?

There's a whole points system, too, where people get points for posting and replying, and can buy stuff in a shop, and use points to play arcade games. Sounds good, maybe it'll happen :)

lol thanks for answering some of my questions. and the reason why I posted this here is because I thought that maybe we could work something out and release it as an HM Agents group or something. I dont know I just wanted to see your opinions before making all other members happy and making them belive that this will be the newest thing in HM. but yeah like he said it is possible cuz I've seen another forum that has this and is very successful. plus this might be another way of making people participate in the forums a little bit more

Sorry to be a killjoy but these points need to be made.

1. Didnt Termy say that all suggestions that agents have should be made in the suggestion forum?

If any suggessions are to be made, there is a seperate forum for that. Let other members respond to your suggessions too. Why do you post your suggessions here in this pvt forum? Got the point guys?

2. I believe that a topic rather like this one was discussed by the Staff a long time back. I cant remember it that clearly but it was disregarded for one reason or another.

Yuo no problem and here is the long and short of it :D

That for fun and enjoyment members should start and participate in contests rather than games because the contests help both the creator and participant learn.

Yea i agree with you there that the members should participate in contests and stuff like that. But also there are members that don't participate in contests. Like me, I can't participate in the contest because i have to install my programs.

The game idea is just dumb. Plain and simple. This is an educational site (or at least it used to be.. might have changed without me knowing).. Games would be a distraction.

yes but it can also be a way to attract more members and if your waiting for a reply to a post you can just go play the games. plus with the permissions that the game has if you actually read what I posted you would see that it can also get more members to participate in the forums so that they can play the games.

The motivation for being active in the forums shouldn't be some little game. It should be the knowledge you are able to obtain. If they don't want to be active in the forums, fine. If they can't post educational information now, what makes you think they will to play a silly little game? Point is, you shouldnt' have to "bribe" members to participate in the forums. They should do it because they want to contribute to HM... not to play around on a game. As you said about the posting... if you do not have a life enough to do something else and you HAVE to have the answer now, I think there's more problems than what you posted asking about.
Also.. I did read what you wrote.. I wouldn't respond if I didn't.
