XOOPs mail

I've just uploaded XOOPs to mybesthost account and when i try to register someone else i must use administrator menu to activate the other accout because xoops don't send any mail... Can someone enlighten it for me?

I guess you either havent uploaded the write file, it is just playing up on you, you havent activated something or edited something or your server and php.ini settings arent allowing it to send it.

I have the same problem, kind of. I installed a hordermail module for phpNuke, and it allows me to send mail just fine, but when it comes to recieving them, it needs some info like the pop server and stuff.
