First Flash Game

Hey guys, I've been messing around with action script, learning some new stuff and such, and i made this new game, its kinda neat, and its really simple, it sort of imitates whack-a-mole. Anyway, you can try it out athttp://shwaza.hostmatrix.org/loser.swf

Lol, i know its simple and really crappy, but im just starting to learn this, so just go ahead and give it a shot. :P

Also, i'll be adding on another level or two, because this one is pretty easy. :)

Lol, yeah it is kinda fast, and now if you check again (same link) i uploaded the new one with level 2, in level two it goes the same speed, but it moves around to more different places :)

all you have to do is put your mouse on a spot that it has hit.
It goes in a rotation and some of the spots don't get hit

yup its way too fast. you should think about slowing it down at least. It's only the first level :blink: slow the game down a bit and maybe add somekind of sound to make it more interesting

yeah im still workin on the game, i plan to add sounds, and an easier first level.

I think when you have play and rules you should have a transperent rectangle over the text and link that to be clicked on because right now you have to click on the text only. It's an ok game for the beginner, keep it up and you'll learn new things and get better.

Bit fast for my eyes but for a first game nice work, tons better than anything I could ever do. :P

I definitely think that you need to get rid of the writing use text and make the movements better etc.

yeah, as i said before, that's just the result of me messin around with action script, i might just make a whole new game after i get a little better with it.

can i just ask one question. is the person put to appear randomply on the screen by actionscript or is it an animation. overall i think it is a great ga,e. keep it up

lol no, i'm no good at the whole random thing, so all it is, is an animation :P I'm working on actually making things that move by themselves, not where they are told to with action script and such.

lol your making all of this sound harder than what it is :P ok so it is hard. but it shouldnt be that hard to learn about making it random if you already know how to make it how you got it now. Im sure you will get how to do it

yeah, i havnt really done any flash latley, im workin on some graphic design, and learning to use css :) I'll try and learn the whole random thing eventually though :)

K, i think I'm going to have a lot of free time tomorrow, so i might get around to doing it, because today at basketball practice i either broke my big toe or just mashed it really hard and it hurts like heck :P so anyway, i'll probably be around the house all day tomorrow.

this is my second flash game. I'm still having lots of problems. The paddle doesn't read the ball sometimes. I'm not sure if is just a Flash Player problem. Oh...and don't be a jerk and use up all my bandwidth limit...lol.

That's cool, make more levels and make the loser go real fast when you get to higher levels.

My advice would be not using hand writing for instructions, use text.
