OK....I want to know how to make a "Progress Bar" work... :blink:

I got Flash MX 2004 too and I had it for 3 weeks and I dont use it cuz I dont know how. I think you might have to wait for people to post up tutorials. They should be post up pretty soon. I dont even know what your talking about so I can't help you but maybe someone else can.

lol..yea....in the program you can add a progress bar. But I put it on the frame...and it won't do anything....i'm really stupid when it comes to HTML and codeing and all that stuff...

well I can't help you there. I know a lot about HTML and stuff but this is one thing I dont know. and you might not get a response today cuz today people are not very active for some reason, so expect some kind of respons sooner or later.

o yeah I also forgot. shwaza is real good with Flash MX im not saying hes the best but any questions like these you should ask him just look at his website and you'll see some of his work. and see your getting help already ;)

yes. first make a dynamic text box give it a variable called text. convert it to a movie clip. add this code in the mc.

onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
text = int( _parent.getBytesLoaded()/1000) add " KBYTES OF " add int(_parent.getBytesTotal() /1000) add " LOADED ...";
if ( _parent.getBytesTotal() == _parent.getBytesLoaded()) {
_parent.gotoAndStop(2);
}
}

i will try and find out how to do it by a bar as well.
