My friend told me about some CGI proxies that can be installed on the server for anonymous web browsing. I could get many links from google.
But my question is whether it can be used as HTTPS proxy ?
I mean can i use to anonymously surf https sites ?
Thanks. :)

Not quite sure what you are trying to ask... If you get cgi proxies that anonymously surf the web from your server, how would that get more links from google? And as for the https sites, don't you have to be verified in some way, thus blocking an anonymous connection? I don't know for sure... but I doubt it.

Sorry for not being specific, but the question was about cgi proxy scripts that allow anonymous web browsing. From a little research i can learn that there exists many cgi scripts that allow HTTP proxy. But for my particular use I want to have a HTTPS proxy script. Which many of cgi experts might know.

This script allows you to anonymously surf. ( your IP will be the server's IP )

Um... The script seems quite easy.
With a few tweaks here and there, you can very well use it for smtp, https, etc. The only thing you must know is the direct communication with the server.
The script seems fairly simple. It just acts like a bridge. The user sends the request to the script, the script in turn sends the request to the server, the server returns the information to the script, and the script just prints out the information on the caller.
Its sumthing that hackers like to use quite often, though there are better means (which i dont wanna discuss here)
