I need some help installing PHP on my old computer(with Win 98). I've looked at a few installing tutorials and I'm still having trouble.

Get a package like easyPHP (easyphp.org)
It installs php, mysql, apache all with relatively little fuss :)

A lot of people run servers locally; it beats using up your bandwidth uploading files to HM for tetsing purposes. So yah, test locally, and when everything is working fine, then upload :)

Thanks for that. I could never get PHP and Apache (and mySQL) to work locally. That easyphp really helps (though it's in French.)
