Wherever you heard that, it is wrong. It says it straight on the IPB website, that it is no longer freely available Permanent use of the trial is illegal, and so is redistributing it.

What is the version that you can isntall from cpanel? does it have any limites? and phpbb? does that have any?

Verson from Cpanel is bad, 1.3 or something, thats why I want and now have :) 2.0. No PHPbb is free so no limitations.
