its just another OS.. nothing more.. if u know about windows.. linux.. macos.. then nothing to no more.. all 3 can satisfy u more then this freebsd!!

Windows are for easy thinking ppl ( For who dont want to think much.. just click-click). Linux is for users who searching thrill and knowledge ( Not suitable for easy give-up ppl ). MacOS is good for Creative ppl ( As a platform for them to express thier creativity ). FreeBSD (*or maybe any *BSD) is for ppl who want all that they can find in Windows, Linux, and MacOS.

I use windows for decoding mpegs, ripping cd's, surfing porns, playing games.
I use linux for brain excerse. Avoiding my brain get rusty by using windows.
I never use Mac.. dont have chance to use one ..
I use freeBSD when it comes to money. Setting up a very secure server, that we can customised any way we want and dont find any *.dll files that we cannot understand what it does :P

Hey, ayie, I don't know if you realize this, but the Mac OS is FreeBSD underneath the GUI.

Honestly, if any of you are looking for an alternative to Windows on the hardware that you currently have, you'd be well advised to seek out BSD Unix, rather than Linux. Not that there is anything wrong with Linux, per se, but the BSDs are more mature and more developed, and have a lot more going for them than the Linux distros.

I realise that :) .. i use FreeBSD, WinXP .. but i never got the opportunity to use an Apple .. the reson why i never had one because of the price is too damn high. No doubt .. FreeBSD or any *BSD flavour is the *REAL Operating System for me.

I can't condemn WIndows because it's where all my money came from, many users use windows :D, and they came to me when I have to ripp off thier windows.

FreeBSD (*or maybe any *BSD) is for ppl who want all that they can find in Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
