Okay this is for a experienced flash user. I am considering buying it, but I do have some concerns.
1] Is it extremely hard to learn
2] When you learn it and your an advanced user does it still take forever to create something decent
3] Is it easy to use, is the setup good?
4] Are there a lot of tutorials available (I need to learn somewhere :P)
5] Support?
Thanks in advance. :)

1) It's a very powerful tool, thus there is a lot to learn; hard, no. Compared to say, Shockwave, much easier.
2) Depends what that something decent is. Flash allows you to create "Components" which are reuseable peices, so if you think ahead a little, you end up with a little personal library of useful clips and functions which make subsequent projects quicker and easier.
3) Definatley.
4) Heck yeah. And there are a number of very good flash-specific forums, where any question you ever could have has already been asked and answered 5 times. :P
5) I don't know, I never had any problems with it. ;)

Shockwave (Macromedia Director) is like flash, only heavier duty. It's a full program environment, not really suited for web design...

You lost me on full program enviroment, and by heavy duty do you mean like creating big games etc? (Yes I am a n00b!)

Yah, there are LOTS of shockwave games out there... generally, Shockwave is better tool for creating games... and Flash is better for websites/animations.

They are made by the same company thoguh? Im just wondering why macromedia would make two diffrent programs that essentially do the same thing, or am I wrong?

probably shockwave reacts better with servers or with users or something, while flash is better for design and such.
As for the questions,
1) Yes it is pretty hard to learn, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty great.
2) I wouldn't call myself an ADVANCED user, but yes, it does take quite a long time to make something decent.
3) Personnally i think that that the whole interface and such is very user friendly
4) There are very good tutorials that come with it, and also several good ones on the internet.
5) The macromedia flash forums are incredibly active, sometimes when i post there with questions, they give me an answer within a few minutes.

Animation is difficult no matter how u do it.
To put what is in your mind to something that looks good, is difficult.
Flash is the best.
