How much $$$$$?

I'm making a personal site. I dont really think i'll get a whole lot of traffic, but hopefully a couple of people a day. Would it be worth it to put ads on it? I mean if i make a couple of cents a month it would be pretty useless to put them on there cus they kinda have a adverse effect on the general atmosphere of the site. So would it be worth putting say Adsense, or any other spesific ads on a small time site? :huh: :huh:

Well, personally I don't think well-placed ads can have too much of an adverse effect on your site. But if you don't expect to get more than a couple visitors a day then I doubt you'll make much $$$. Remember, adsense doesn't even pay you for ad views... they pay for clicks... :)

and does adsense pay you if you click the ads a couple of times yourself? or does it keep the ip's of the different computers that clicked or something?

I think if you are only going to make x cents a month dont use ads becuase it will enhance the look of your site but if you know you can make money place them well so they arent so annoying.

what me and my friends did last year is we made a game cheats forum and posted it on google and msn. we added google adsense and we earned about $15 per month... no bad for just putting ads on the side! :P
we are planning to make a similar one soon
