First of all check here : http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/
This is a shared free advertising medium made by lots of webmasters. The advantage is that we can advertise for free. Though there is lot of prerequesites for getting accepted by the adnetwork group.
Does anyone know about this kinda service?
I think for HM members we can have a similar system. Have to think about it more deeply.
What do you guys n gals say ? :)

Isn't this similar to link-exchange programmes except it's internally controlled and you don't lose ad views/clicks to the exchange service provider?
Anyhow, yah HM could run one internally :)
The only problem is I'm not sure how many ppl would participate... and a lot of the sites we host don't have a whole lot, in terms of content, yet...

I would come to it - the problem is that I wouldn't know any other way to get it into my from except for framing a frame for the ad and another for the forum.

Loser are you suggesting about skyscraper ads ?
@All
We can do this only as text links in white background. ALso it will a normal 468x60 banner like text ads.
Another thing is that It will drive traffic to all of our site.( participating members) . Hence I think its a good idea to start this kinda free co-operative service delivering benefit for all.
btw, the ads will be shown on HM too. ( The visitors coming in HM will see your ads and may take a look on your site. ) :D

Creator, would it be required to but the ad banners on all of the pages if we participate? There are some pages on my site that can't take anymore ads... :P

But that defeats the purpose... the point of this isn't so WE get the links to each others' sites... the point is so our VISITORS get the links to our different sites :P

I think we should stick pasting ad code only to high traffic pages of your site. ( Well we have decide what should be called high traffic though.. :P )

Suppose you have participated with this free ad network, then your ads will be displayed among all the members sites belonging to the network. Implies visitors from all of members site will see your ad and they may visit your site. Doesnt that make sense ?
